Bach is the master of Baroque music.His composition style is changeable.It is because of his bold innovation and breakthrough that he promoted the development of Baroque music.Bach Cello unaccompanied suite is one of Bach’s representative works in Baroque period.It is the first choice of numerous cello scholars and music lovers for its historicity and representativeness.Bach Cello unaccompanied suite is of special significance to cellists,especially to students.It has become a compulsory course for cellists and Cello learners all over the world.Many musicians at home and abroad have studied Bach’s music from different angles and in different depth,and made some notes according to their own understanding of music,thus publishing many versions of Bach Cello unaccompanied suite.Different versions of the works play different effects.This paper attempts to analyze the different versions of Bach Cello unaccompanied suite by comparing the performances of Paul Totrier version,Dylan Alexandrian version and German bear riding version,so as to elaborate the relationship between different versions and the way of music performance.This paper mainly takes the first suite as the research object,combined with the existing research and the author’s performance experience,analyzes the details of the bow playing method,and expects to make a meaningful exploration for the related research.
