| Achille-Claude Debussy is one of the most important French composers in the20 th century.He is a representative figure of impressionism music in the 20 th century.Debussy’s creation of a wide range of genres.Instrumental works is the focus of Debussy’s creation.In addition to instrumental music and opera,Debussy also once created solo and chorus and other vocal music works.Although Debussy had created works with choruses as the main body,most of them were in cantata and other genres,such as cantata’s " La Damoiselle élue" and "Le martyre de Saint-Sébastien".The chanson ‘Dieu! Qu ’il la fait bon regarder’ is from the only choral chanson work written by Debussy,Trois Chansons de Charles d’Orleans.When Debussy created this work,because the poem was created by the fifteenth century poet Charles d’Orleans,so in the tonality and the arrangement and application of harmony,embodies the characteristics of the Renaissance period.On this basis,Debussy in this work,into his "Arabesque" writing techniques,in the composition of the formation of a unique characteristics.Debussy’s combination of Renaissance techniques with the "Arabesque" of his writing created new demands in the interpretation of his works.As one of the only choral chanson work of Debussy,"Dieu! qu`il la fait bon regarder" is of high research value in terms of composition and selected poems,although it has not been performed many times.In the music creation of Debussy,embodies a remarkable feature of the European music creation at that time,that is,music and literature,fine arts highly combined.The poems of the 15 th century poet Charles d’Orleans,were performed not only in music by Debussy,but also in the paintings of the famous painter Matisse.Thus it can be seen that this work created by Debussy reflects some characteristics of the trend of music creation at that time,and shows a high degree of literature.In this paper,the author from the conductor’s point of view of Debussy’s Chanson "Dieu! qu`il la fait bon regarder" to study.Through the research of the writing background,writing technique,the way of combining poetry with music and so on,some conclusions are drawn.On this basis,combined with the author’s experience in the rehearsal and performance of this work,this work conducts an in-depth exploration of the conducting techniques and acoustics of this work,and summarizes the important role of the conductor in interpreting the connotation of this work. |
