How To Use The Chorus Conducting Skills To Express The Musical Performance Means

The performance of chorus works is the soul and life of chorus art.It is based on the form and connotation of the works given by the songwriters.The audience can understand and appreciate the chorus works from the singers musical expressions,and then achieve emotional resonance.This allows the audience to be influenced by art and obtain the beauty experience while enjoying the art of singing.People often say: "There is no unskillful choir,but only the unskillful chorus conductor",which means that the chorus conductor plays a vital role for a choir.Apparently,the main work of the chorus conductor is reflected in the conducting motion,but as the director of the chorus,it is far from enough that stopping the commanding skills in beating time.When a chorus wants to guide and train the chorus players to better interpret the musical feelings of the chorus works,a qualified conductor will dig out the deeply emotional connotations of the works,and then design the corresponding conducting motion combined with the connotations;moreover,the conductor is supposed to accurately express the emotional connotation to the member of chorus during the rehearsal and singing process in order to achieve the satisfactory result.This paper will take the three chorus works in the“2017 Shanxi Province Elegant Art Entering the Campus——‘Coming from the Grassland' Chorus Concert of the Zhongbei University ” as the example,combined with the practice of the usual rehearsal,to analyze how to use the chorus conducting skills to express the musical performance means.
