| One of the most important visual symbols in science fiction films is alien creatures of various forms.They have the appearance characteristics of humanoid aliens,multiple biological combinations,robots,biochemicals,humans,etc.And they are generally set as villains in science fiction films.I will use four chapters to illustrate my point.According to the chronological order,from the appearance of "alienation" to the spiritual "alienation" is a progressive relationship to analyze the characteristics of the sci-fi villain in each era.The first chapter mainly explains the concept of "alienation" and the early forms of "alienation",combined with the sci-fi movies starting with "Moon Journey" to illustrate the cultural characteristics of early sci-fi villains,and discuss sci-fi movies by analyzing the social background at that time The alienation of the ruling class and the alienation of the ruled class are manifestations.The second chapter mainly elaborates on the strong offensive villain role during the war.It originated from the instinct of repelling aliens.At the same time,it was influenced by colonial history and the background of the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union.The exclusivity of "alienation" was strengthened during this period.Chapter 3 is based on reflections on war and the Cold War.After peace became the theme of this period,the image of "alienation" was no longer confined to inhuman characteristics,and humans sometimes became a group of "alienated" And "alienation" no longer necessarily has external morphological characteristics.With the development of information technology,it has sublimated from an individual externally independent of the subject to an internal spiritual alienation.With the development of the times,"alienation" is an inward movement,and external morphological characteristics are no longer binding.The fourth chapter summarizes the perspectives of the previous three chapters,further summarizes the development law of the concept of the times in the "alienation" image,and combines my own creative narrative experience. |
