| In the history of Chinese calligraphy,female calligraphers have participated in all dynasties,but the history of calligraphy is rather fragmented.As a part of female calligraphers,celebrity calligraphers are more scattered.However,celebrity calligraphers under the special historical background of the Ming Dynasty continued to emerge,and they had clear records and works handed down from generation to generation.Especially in the late Ming Dynasty,with literati and celebrities admiring women’s talents,more celebrities and calligraphers walked out of the boudoirs and actively participated in social activities,and appeared to imitate the phenomenon of literati forming social literature.This article will start from the social and cultural environment of the celebrity calligraphers in the Ming Dynasty,and sort out the general picture of the celebrity calligraphers of that period in the ancient books and calligraphy.The celebrity calligraphers of the Ming Dynasty were often well-educated since childhood,with unusual life experiences and higher spiritual qualities than ordinary people.Almost every celebrity calligrapher’s work has a moving story behind it,and there have been more influential celebrities.Calligrapher,represents the higher calligraphy level of celebrity calligraphers.Through the exploration of the biography of the famous calligraphers in Ming Dynasty and their family studies,this paper analyzes the artistic achievements and style features of his surviving calligraphy.The calligraphy of celebrities in the Ming Dynasty is compared with that of female calligraphers of the same period,male calligraphers of the same period,and celebrity calligraphy of different periods in order to explain and distinguish the calligraphy of celebrities in the Ming Dynasty as a whole,and to explore the calligraphy of celebrities in Ming Dynasty.The profound connotation and artistic achievements in the history of calligraphy and their limitations. |
