A Study On The Editing Of "Qubieci" In Chinese-Thai Dictionary

As an important learning tool for speakers of other languages,the Chinese dictionaries can provide great help for them.Qubieci is the rather unique words in Chinese word system.Starting from the Chinese-Thai dictionaries,this paper takes Yang Hanchuan’s Modern Chinese-Thai Dictionary and Pei Xiaorui’s New Chinese-Thai dictionary as the research objects,studying the compilation of Qubieci,analyzing the advantages and disadvantages,and then trying to edit Qubieci in Chinese-Thai dictionaries.The first chapter is the introduction,including the reason of the paper,methods and current research results.It introduces the research results of Chinese dictionaries aimed at foreign users and Qubieci,and analyzes the demands of Thai students on the delimitation of Qubieci in Chinese-Thai dictionaries.The second chapter starts with three classic literatures,introduces the source of Qubieci studied in this paper,investigates the collection of Qubieci in HSK Chinese vocabulary syllabus,and finally determines 188 Qubieci to be studied in this paper.The third chapter studies the compilation of Qubieci in the Chinese-Thai dictionary.As the main body of the article,this part analyzes the entry collection,structure,interpretation,meaning and examples of Qubieci in the Chinese-Thai dictionary,and points out the advantages and disadvantages.Because New Chinese-Thai dictionary edited by Pei Xiaorui does not divide the meaning of Qubieci.and there are no examples,classic The Commercial Press Learner’s Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese edited by Lu Jianji is introduced in the last two sections of this chapter for comparative analysis.The fourth chapter analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the classification for Qubieci in the Chinese-Thai dictionaries,and gives some suggestions from the overall and entry structure.The fifth chapter selects 50 examples of Qubieci,analyzes the compilation of their definitions and examples in five dictionaries,points out their advantages and disadvantages,and gives trial edition,which is also the innovation of this paper.The last part is the conclusion,which makes a summary and reflection on the full text.
