A Study On The Editing Of Entries In Chinese Dictionaries Aimed At Foreign Users

The Chinese dictionaries aimed at foreign users,as an important part of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages,can provide great help for Chinese learners.Based on various research results available at this stage,taking synthetic directional verbs as an example,the author studies the explanation of synthetic directional verbs in Chinese dictionaries aimed at foreign users from many angles,such as entries collection,entries structure,sense arrangement,definitions and illustrations.This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the current “Chinese dictionaries aimed at foreign users” in dealing with the explanation of synthetic directional verbs,and puts forward some corresponding suggestions.The first chapter of the introduction mainly introduces the reason and significance of the topic,the results,contents and methods of research.It focuses on the research results of Chinese dictionaries aimed at foreign users,the ontological research results of synthetic directional verbs,and the research results of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The second chapter mainly introduces the editing of the entries of synthetic directional verbs in Chinese dictionaries aimed at foreign users,including entries collection,entries structure,sense arrangement,definitions and illustrations.This part is the main body of the full paper,using the comparative research,data statistics and other research methods,to study the synthetic directional verbs part of The Commercial Press Learner's Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese and A Chinese Dictionary for Learners and Teachers.The third chapter is the evaluation of the editing of the entries of synthetic directional verbs in Chinese dictionaries aimed at foreign users.Based on the analysis of the explanation of synthetic directional verbs in Chinese dictionaries aimed at foreign users,related to the ontological research of the synthetic directional verbs and the research results of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,this part analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the explanation of the synthetic directional verbs in Chinese dictionaries aimed at foreign users.The fourth chapter,taking the explanation of synthetic directional verbs as an example,provides suggestions for the editing of Chinese dictionaries aimed at foreign users.By using various editing methods in various dictionaries aimed at foreign users,this,in view of the shortcomings of the editing of the entries of synthetic directional verbs in China's Chinese dictionaries aimed at foreign users,provides some suggestions for improvement in order to promote the development of Chinese dictionaries aimed at foreign users.The last part is the conclusion,summing up the full paper and pointing out the shortcomings of this paper.
