The Influence Of Andersen’s Fairy Tales On Tang Sulan’s Fairy Tales

Tang Sulan is one of the most influential children’s literature writers in contemporary China.Her fairy tales are deeply influenced by Andersen’s fairy tales.From the perspective of "influence-reception" in comparative literature,we can clearly show the influence of Andersen’s fairy tales on Tang Sulan’s fairy tales.This is a case study of the acceptance of Andersen’s fairy tales in contemporary China.The comparative study of the two reveals the effect of fairy tales from one side The aesthetic characteristics and development space provide inspiration for Chinese children’s literature,especially the creation of fairy tales.This article is composed of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion: The first part is the introduction,which mainly discusses the feasibility of comparative literary research on Tang Sulan’s fairy tales,the status of domestic and foreign research on the influence of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tales on Chinese children’s literature writers and the domestic research status of Tang Sulan’s fairy tales,the significance of this study,and the innovative points.The second part is the main text,there are five chapters in total.The first chapter mainly introduces the influence of Andersen’s fairy tales "physical nature" and "human nature" of the fairy tale image modeling technique on Tang Sulan’s creation,specifically from the fairy tale image of animals,plants and non-biological "humanoid";the second chapter mainly starts from The dual aesthetic expression of fairy tales illustrates the influence of Andersen’s fairy tales on Tang Sulan’s creation,specifically from the childishness and philosophy of fairy tales;Chapter 3 mainly introduces Andersen’s fairy tales rooted in folk culture for Tang Sulan’s creation of localization practice.The fourth chapter mainly introduces Tang Sulan’s exploration of new path in the creation of fairy tales,mainly from the creativity of the theme selection and the influence of multiple writers;the fifth chapter mainly introduces the differences between Tang Sulan’s fairy tales and Andersen’s fairy tales,specifically,the discussion is based on the existence of religious thoughts and the different attitudes of the two writer to urban civilization.The third part is the conclusion,summarizing the influential position of Andersen’s fairy tales in Tang Sulan’s creation.Tang Sulan used his own thoughts,emotions and cultural experience while drawing lessons from Andersen’s creative techniques and concepts to create fairy tales with personal characteristics and Chinese style,which is the benchmark of contemporary Chinese fairy tales.Tang Sulan’s fairy tale creation shows that the aesthetic characteristics of Andersen’s fairy tales are still effective in contemporary Chinese fairy tale creation.
