Children's Literature of China is accompanied with the diverse and complex influence of Andersen's Fairy Tales from her birth to maturity. The thesis mainly researches the influence of Andersen's Fairy Tales on Children's Literature of China in the May-Fourth period and analyzes the reason why the influence is produced. Besides, the Chinese May-Fourth researcher as the receiver, this passage tries to explain the circumstances of Andersen's Fairy Tales'reception and the misunderstanding in the accepting process in the May-Fourth period of china.The preface approximately discusses the profound influence produced by Andersen's Fairy Tales in the May-Fourth period of China, explains the reason for selecting this thesis, the Writing thoughts and research methods in the paper.The text is divided into three parts. Chapter 1 expound how the Andersen's Fairy Tales introduced to China.Chapter 2 interprets the influence of Andersen's Fairy Tales on Children's Literature of China. In the May-Fourth period, Andersen's Fairy Tales played an important role in the process of constructing Children's Literature of China. These influences of Andersen's Fairy Tales on Children's Literature of China, originated from the Spiritual world similarity and the culture correspond.Chapter 3 analyzes the acception and the misunderstanding of May-Fourth researcher towards Andersen's Fairy Tales. In the early of 20th century, Chinese writers were limited by the idea of Chinese children. In the process of accepting Andersen's Fairy Tales, it appeared that they couldn't understanding Andersen's Fairy Tales totally, understanding the fantasy art of Andersen's Fairy Tales in an deviated direction, and excluding the religious thought of Andersen's Fairy Tales.finally, these misunderstandings restrict the development of Children's Literature of China in the broader direction.The concluding is further complement to the text. This passage evaluates the influence of Andersen's Fairy Tales on Children's Literature of China from the two aspects—positive and negative, and explains the attitudes we should keep when we explain, research and evaluate Children's Literature of China of May-Fourth.
