The academic circle generally defines poetic prefaces as a piece of text after the topic of poem and before the text of poem.However,this division neglects the integration of the title and poetic prefaces from the Wei and Jin Dynasties,and title notes which do not clearly indicate the "preface" and have the same effect and the content as poetic prefaces.Especially in the study of the poetic prefaces of the individual poet,the "preface" factor in the long titles and title notes is not negligible.This thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is "Preface and Overview of Bai Juyi's Preface".After tracing the development of "Preface","Preface Style" and "Poetic Preface" from the Han Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty,the author redefined the "Poetic Preface" to include the long title,title notes and the preface clearly marked by the poet in the title of the poem with the words "And Order" "And Quote".The long titles are titles with more than11 words;The latter two are a paragraph of explanatory text between the title of the poem and the poem,specifically,including the preface clearly marked by the poet in the title of the poem with the words "And Order" "And Quote",and the poet did not clearly marked the obvious words of the preface,that is,title notes.There are a total of 719 prefaces in Bai Juyi's poems.The number is the most in the Tang Dynasty.Among them,there are 398 long titles and 289 title notes.There are 32 poetic prefaces that clearly indicate "preface".These poetic prefaces have long and short contents,different forms,and diverse themes.They are scattered throughout the poet's life and record the poet's life experience and ups and downs in the official period.The style of Bai Juyi's poetic prefaces often changes with the poet's career and the attitude of life.Therefore,the author divides poetic prefaces into five periods based on the ups and downs of Bai Juyi's experience in the official period,which including the poetic prefaces in the period of pursuing a career,the poetic prefaces in the period of brilliant career,the poetic prefaces in the period of the exile,the poetic prefaces of the period of self-seeking,and the poetry of the period of the good old age.The second chapter is "Bai Juyi's Prologue Theme Classification".According to the differences in the main characters of Bai Juyi's poetic prefaces,they can be divided into fivecategories: one is the poetic prefaces of the antiphon.Most of the forms of poetic prefaces are expressed in giving poems,the same word,and replying someone.The use of sub-rhymes or rhymes,etc.These poetic prefaces is mainly divided into three parts in the content,one is feasting and antiphon,one is daily Antiphon,and the other is antiphon in different time,these poetic prefaces reflect the social wind direction of the poet.The second is the historical poetic prefaces.The historical record class mainly exists in the title notes and the long titles.The most obvious mark in the title notes is: “Time...”,and the content is mainly divided into three parts: one is to describe the poet's personal history,and another is to describe the background of the social era,as well as to record the facts of life.The poetic prefaces of the historical records are scattered in the various periods of the poet's life,and play an important role in understanding the poet's life trajectory.To a certain extent,they also play a certain role in supplementing history;The third is the poetic prefaces of expressing feeling.It mainly includes three kinds of emotions: feelings of things,feelings of human beings,and feelings of traveling.The emotions are divided into three emotions: miss someone,old and sad.They show the aesthetics of foreign objects?the choice and the delicate and rich emotional world.Fourth,the subject of imitation.These poetic prefaces show the imitation of the four existing literary styles,showing the poet's recognition and pursuit of the imitation object,tending in emotional performance consistent.Fifth,the subject of mix.Although the poetic prefaces are difficult to distinguish clearly,it can be divided into three aspects: one,which records the poetry creation location in a certain period of time;and the second,summarizes the poetry content.Third,the interpretation of poetic titles.These poetic prefaces plays a very good auxiliary role for readers to interpret poetry.The third chapter is "the Characteristics of Bai Juyi's Preface".The characteristics of Bai Juyi's the poetic prefaces are mainly divided into three categories: one is the stylistic features,and the poet strongly emphasizes the follow-up of the preface and the poetic requirements,that is,the "Respect Stylistic",meanwhile,the poet look forward to integration between the styles and expanded the scope of preface.The literary achievements of poetic prefaces show the challenge of the main position of the poetry text,that is,“Broken Stylistic”.One is the linguistic feature,and the Bai Juyi's language in the poetic prefaces present the characteristics of arguing,individuality and popularity,and it is also impossible to ignore the ills of theidioms in the language.One is the literary feature,that is,the in-depth analysis of the factors of time and space,visual transformation and cultural inheritance in Bai Juyi's poetic prefaces.The fourth chapter is "the Character of Bai Juyi's Preface".In order to highlight the creative personality of Bai Juyi's poetic prefaces and the creative atmosphere of the "pursue excellence and make a difference",it is more typical to compare Yuan Zhen,Liu Yuxi's poetic prefaces with Bai Juyi's poetic prefaces,who has most frequent interactions.In the comparison of Yuan and Bai's poetic prefaces,it can be found that Bai Juyi and Yuan Zhen show the difference between unitary and duality in the style of creation.The former adheres to the realism style,while the latter pays attention to both the society and the self-emotion.The main manifestation is as follows: In terms of content,Bai Juyi chooses realistic materials,and Yuan Zhen pays attention to the realistic materials while showing the characteristics of the selection of new themes.In language,Bai Juyi is easy style,and Yuan Yu is very elegant and easy style.In terms of form,Bai Juyi is mainly composed of prose poetic prefaces,Yuan Zhen has both prose poetic prefaces and other stylistic.In addition,by dividing and contrasting the poetic prefaces of Liu and Bai's different official periods,it can be found that Liu Yuxi and Bai Juyi have different life attitudes: the former shows the reluctance and struggle of life,and the latter shows personality maturity in transformation.The fifth chapter is "the Relationship Between the Preface of Bai Juyi's Poems and the Movement of Ancient Prose in the Middle Tang Dynasty".Combining the background of the times,the development of literature,and so on,the reasons for the large number of poetic prefaces in Bai Juyi can be found.The political situation in which the party has struggled and changed,the trend of the common trend,the social customs of the civilian style,the ancient writings movement,the poetic preface culture are the main reason for the expansion of the preface culture in Bai Juyi's poetry,and the emergence of a large number of long titles and title notes,leading to the climax of the number of poetic prefaces.Among them,Han Yu's proposition in the ancient writings movement is based on the idea of clearing reason,smooth language,proper expression of language.These viewpoints have close contact with Bai Ju Yi's poetic prefaces,which are advocated for the king,for the minister,for the people,for the things,for the things and for the words and state the facts directly and directness of language.At the same time,the simple style and the ancient writings movement reflected in Bai Juyi'spoems echo each other.The scattered culture in the form of poetry,the enrichment of content,and the practicality of creation are consistent with the requirements of the ancient Chinese movement in literary creation.
