We are always facing decisions in our daily life.Different decisions lead to different results of events.According to different decision situations,decision can be divided into deterministic decision and uncertain decision,and the most common thing we encounter in our life is the uncertain decision.Making a good judgment in a uncertain situation can bring a good result.In the process of decision-making,people are not completely rational,individuals are involved in irrational psychological processes.Among individual differences,personality is the most important influence on individuals.The trait theory holds that individuals instinctively deal with problems in a way that is consistent with their personality.Personality and decision-making have relative stability,and the research that combines the two is quite meaningful.After the 1980 s,researchers began to pay attention to the influence of emotion on judgment and decision.Anger has received special attention in the field of emotion and decision making.Anger is a negative emotion,but its influence on decision making is similar to that of positive emotion.Previous studies on the influence of anger on decision-making have studied accidental emotion.This study introduced trait anger,a personality trait related to anger emotion,and discussed the influence of trait anger on uncertain decision-making.In this study,high and low trait anger subjects were selected by trait anger scale,and the decision differences of different trait anger groups in uncertain decisions were investigated.The first study used Iowa gambling task to investigate the decision differences of high and low trait anger group(34 in the high trait anger group and 33 in the low trait anger group).The results showed that:(1)The proportion of low trait anger group choosing advantage decks was significantly higher than that of high trait anger group.(2)As the task progressed,the low trait anger group chose more advantage decks earlier and more.(3)The proportion of high trait anger group choosing deck 2(disadvantage deck)was significantly higher than that of low trait anger group,while the proportion of choosing deck 3(advantage deck)was significantly lower than that of low trait anger group.(4)The high trait anger group chose the high reward cards more frequently than the low trait anger group.The second study used real-life investment decision materials to investigate whether the high and low trait anger group(75 in the high trait anger group and 73 in the low trait anger group)had a fuzzy seeking preference in uncertain decision,and the effect of responsibility.The results showed that:(1)Regardless of the differences in roles,data from different roles and ambiguous schemes II and III were combined,and the number of ambiguous schemes selected by high and low trait anger groups was significantly higher than that of low trait anger groups.(2)When the participants were employees and did not have to take responsibility for decision-making,the high trait anger group chose the risk scheme significantly less often than the low trait anger group,and its frequency of choosing ambiguous scheme with larger gain and loss amount was significantly higher than that of the low trait anger group.When the roles of the subjects were employees and were responsible for decision-making,the high trait anger group chose the risk scheme significantly less than the low trait anger group,but there was no significant difference in the selection times of the two ambiguous schemes with different profit and loss amounts.When the role of the subjects was the highest decision maker,that is,when making decisions for themselves,there was no significant difference in the selection times of the risk scheme and the ambiguous scheme of the two different profit and loss amounts in the high and low trait anger group.(3)Under different scenarios,role difference had no significant effect on decision preference of different trait anger groups.In the third study,card test was used to investigate whether there was any difference in risk decision and ambiguous decision between high and low trait anger groups(29 in the high trait anger group and 29 in the low trait anger group).The results showed that:(1)The number of gambling choices in ambiguous decision-making and risk decision-making in high trait anger group was significantly higher than that in low trait anger group.(2)The response time for ambiguous decision making is longer than that for risky decision making.(3)The selection response of high trait anger group was significantly shorter than that of low trait anger group.Conclusion:(1)The high trait anger group is more likely to make risky decision in uncertain decisions.(2)High trait anger groups are more attracted to reward information in decision-making and prefer higher rewards.(3)The high trait anger group has the preference of ambiguous decision making,and shows more ambiguous seeking when making decisions for others,and the high trait anger group is inclined to the ambiguous option of high return when it is not necessary to take responsibility.(4)The high trait anger group takes more risks in both ambiguous and risky decisions and makes choices faster.
