Students only have a preliminary understanding of the major of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages when they choose it,but after entering university,they may have a low cognitive sense of the major because of individual differences in understanding,curriculum setting and other reasons.When students’ cognition of their major is uncertain and fuzzy,they may have reverse psychology and neglect their studies,which results in subjective rejection,and leads to passive spoon-feeding teaching in the process of education and teaching,which greatly reduces the quality of teaching.In the student-oriented education system,only by objective and rational analysis and evaluation can we know the degree of their professional cognition,so as to take targeted measures to change the passive education into active education and improve the teaching quality of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages.This article will mainly applied in the field of epidemiology and behavioral science KAP model to the cognition of Teaching of the major of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages,expand the KAP model of application scope,and through the way of the census of all the students of A university Chinese international education specialty questionnaire survey,the survey not only have different education level of this life,There are also cross-major master students and students who have been promoted to this class,so that we can have a more comprehensive understanding of the cognition of subjects from different backgrounds to this major.The first part of this paper mainly describes the research background,research purpose and significance,literature review,research design.The second part analyzes the cognitive status of the major of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages students.The third and fourth parts explore the cognitive problems of the major of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages students according to the current cognitive status of the major,and further analyze the causes of the problems.Finally,based on the above analysis,combined with the reasons affecting students’ cognition of this major,put forward corresponding suggestions.The results show that the problems of professional cognitive content are the lack of authoritative professional cognitive contact channels,the content of professional cognitive contact is not comprehensive enough,the curriculum can not meet the actual needs,the narrow employment channels and so on.The problems of professional cognition and attitude are low evaluation of employment prospects and low social recognition.The problem of professional cognitive behavior is the lack of initiative in professional information acquisition.Finally,corresponding suggestions are put forward in terms of professional cognitive content: to set up specialized cognitive channels and optimize cognitive content;Flexible curriculum setting,increase the way out of graduation;Carry out campus activities to attract students’ interest.In terms of professional cognition and attitude: increase school-enterprise cooperation to enhance professional recognition;Carry out professional publicity to improve social recognition.In the aspect of professional cognitive behavior: cultivate students’ habits and enhance their learning initiative;We will strengthen political education and raise our sense of national mission.
