The relationship between style and use has been explored and debated for a long time in Chinese traditional Confucianism.With the development of Neo-Confucianism and mind theory in The Song and Ming dynasties,neo-Confucianism has a new discussion and development on the relationship between body and use.Different schools have different understandings and interpretations of the relationship between them.Especially in the later period of the philosophical thought of Song and Ming dynasties,different schools on the basis of the ontological thought of gongfu developed two different ways of exploring the moral practice inward and the subjective initiative outward.However,whether it is the introverted exploration of individual inner moral practice subject or the extroverted promotion of human subject consciousness and practice orientation,it ultimately points to the supreme moral realm,which is the lifelong pursuit of traditional Confucian scholars.The characteristic of Chan Ruoshui’s thought lies in his reconciliation of introverted practice and extroverted practice.He took the ontology of mind as the starting point of his thought,and the congou theory of "recognizing nature everywhere" as the foothold of his thought.It provided a train of thought and direction for the transition from Neo-Confucianism to xinology in Ming and Qing Dynasties.The characteristic Chan Ruoshui’s ontological thoughts lies in his conception of "great mind" covering the universe and human’s original mind.The internal affairs of the universe,people’s physical affairs and the development of their own moral spirit are all internal affairs.Under the background of "big heart",Chan Ruoshui’s exploration of the subject of human moral practice starts from the ontology of mind based on "qi",which includes the abstract noumenon heart in form and the alienation heart in form.This "big heart" not only harmonizes the relationship between form and form,subject and object,but also endows the universal law of human social development with moral significance.Chan Ruoshui focuses on the principle of man’s subjectivity and the way of practice,which is an impassable way to sanctification.Whether the individual’s moral exploration inward or his understanding outward,both promote the initiative of the subject and reach the realm of holiness within and majesty outside in things.At the same time,Chan Ruoshui elucidated the cong fu theory of "recognizing nature everywhere".His cosmology of the unity of reason and air unified the relationship between form and form;The ontology of the unity of mind and nature demonstrates the internal consistency of nature and human mind.Everywhere recognize the nature of kung fu theory,will sit silent knowledge and reward as a period of time and ask scholars to stick to it;The epistemology of the unity of knowledge and action combines the philosophical direction of moral compliance with the study of Taoism and clarifies the practice process of reaching the realm of inner holiness and outer king.Chan Ruoshui drew the "reason" hanging high in the air into the heart,regarded the heart as the carrier of "reason",combined the inward and outward seeking of reason,and avoided the evils of separation of Neo-Confucianism at that time.Secondly,it provides theoretical support for the development of practical thoughts of the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.He emphasized the role of morality and social practice,connected the understanding of nature with the understanding of things,pulled the recognition of nature to the secular world,and brought vitality to the enlightenment of the thought of economic affairs.Now we are in one hundred,the changing from the special historical period,work is good China road,culture embellish are the premise of good Chinese story,Chan Ruoshui in the "big heart" horizon,focuses on the morality and practical utility should matter,reveal the traditional Confucian "extremely clever and the doctrine of the mean" and "as a nation of all peaceful" ideal.The most valuable part of his thought needs to be developed and transformed to give play to its value,so as to inject the power of traditional philosophy into the development of China and the vitality of Chinese culture into the development of the community with a shared future for mankind.
