The Expression Of Regional Characteristics In Oil Painting-creative Practice Of "Yuanshang" Series

Danner believes that "the artistic characteristics of a place,including themes,artistic styles,expression techniques and spiritual connotations,are closely related to their regionality." The art of oil painting has been introduced to China since a hundred years ago,and after being combined with China’s national conditions and history and culture,it has gradually developed and changed,forming Chinese oil painting with local characteristics.Among them,we attach importance to our own national culture and national characteristics,which are not man-made,but naturally occurring.Since ancient times,the development of art is closely related to the regional environment,and the differences in local economy,culture,customs,landforms and other aspects will form different moral feelings and creative inspiration for artists.This paper mainly takes the regional characteristics of the middle and upper reaches of the Yellow River(collectively referred to as "Yuanshang" in the text)as the starting point,analyzes and explains the "regional characteristics of Yuanshang",and explores the influence of the combination of regional characteristics of Yuanshang and the creation of oil paintings.In order to further promote the nationalization of oil painting and summarize the rich theoretical basis and practical experience for carrying forward the Chinese regional culture.First of all,we analyze and understand the concept and influence of regionality,as well as the creative inspiration of the artists’ ideas and works on the author.Second,I would like to talk about the process of the author’s creative conception and artistic expression.Finally,combined with this creative practice,I will expound the problems of the regional characteristics of "Yuanshang" in the creation of oil painting and the aesthetic value of my research direction.Through learning the painting direction and skills of artists such as George Rouao,Duan Zhengqu,and Shang Yang,he uses creation to express his innermost emotions and pursues the inner spirit of painting.
