| In the early Qing Dynasty,Pu Songling ’ s Strange Tales of a Lonely Studio is famous for writing flower demons and fox charms and abnormal people,which has a great influence in society and makes the creation of classical Chinese novels once again popular.Fan Xingrong in the late Qing Dynasty,under the influence of Strange Tales of a Lonely Studio,created the first collection of classical Chinese short stories in Guizhou Dan Ying Ji.It uses ghosts and gods ’ strange writing to reflect social reality and educate people,which plays an important role in the history of Guizhou literature in the Qing Dynasty.This paper aims to compare the two works,on the one hand,to further highlight the influence of Strange Tales of a Lonely Studio on later scholars,but also to confirm the value of Dan Ying Ji in literature,history and other aspects;on the other hand,we can further grasp the inheritance and development of the Qing Dynasty classical novel.The paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly expounds the origin and significance of the topic,and combs the research status.The second chapter compares Fan Xingrong and Pu Songling from the three aspects of motivation and purpose,spiritual temperament and aesthetic taste of the book.They all take literature as the purpose of creation,integrate the spirit of recording and the critical spirit of reality into the works,and endow the stories of mystery with profound practical significance with the emotion of compassion.The third chapter mainly explores the influence of Strange Tales of a Lonely Studio on Dan Ying Ji from four aspects : Strange Tales of a Lonely Studio,the use of story themes,the shaping of characters,the description and criticism of reality.In the fourth chapter,through the comparison of the two works in the writing scope of regional culture,language style and the content of the same theme,it aims to clarify that Dan Ying Ji is not blindly imitated,but is constantly expanded on the basis of learning Strange Tales of a Lonely Studio,thus laying its position in the history of Guizhou literature.The conclusion summarizes the viewpoints of the paper. |
