| Shi Ji is an important corpus for the study of ancient Chinese.This paper takes the synonymous degree adverbs in Shi Ji as the research object,draws lessons from the traditional exegetical method,inherits the modern semantic theory,takes the "semantic-centered theory" as the guidance,inspects the original meaning and extended meaning of each degree adverb,analyzes its semantic evolution.At the same time,the semantic characteristics of glyphs and linked etymologies are explored by analyzing them,and synonyms are discriminated accordingly.This conclusion can enrich the study of synonyms,explore the characteristics and subtle differences of synonyms degree adverbs,and better understand the sentences in Shi Ji.The paper is divided into six parts:Part one: Introduction.Firstly,this paper introduces the origin and value of the topic from two aspects: the corpus situation and the research value of adverbs of degree.Secondly,it summarizes the status quo of degree adverbs,ancient Chinese synonyms,semantic exploration methods and semantic grammatical relations.Finally,the paper expounds the research ideas and methods.Part two: A study on adverbs of extreme degree.This part mainly carries on the semantic analysis and the usage sorting of the two kinds of degree adverbs of extreme and excessive.including the "extremely" "too",etc.By sorting out the general situation of their use in Shiji,sorting out the evolvement of meanings and analyzing the use cases,we can distinguish the differences between each kind of synonyms.Part three: Study on adverbs of high and deep degree.This part mainly extracts the semantic features of "much",etc,makes a comparative analysis according to the semantic features of each word,and distinguishes the subtle differences between synonyms.Part four: Study on adverbs of degree.This part mainly extracts the semantic features of "more",etc,and discriminates these seven synonyms.At the same time,it describes and analyzes the general situation and use cases of three adverbs of polyphonic degree.Part five: Study on adverbs of mild degree.This part mainly carries on the usage and semantic analysis to "slightly" and other four adverbs of degree,and carries on the synonym discrimination research to them.Part six: Conclusion.Summarize the research results and point out the shortcomings. |
