Research On The Evolution Of "Adjective-degree Adverbs"

Adverb degree is a part of adverbs,Semantic Sources of degree adverb can be traced back to adjectives,verbs,adverbs and nouns.And adjectives are the main source of degree adverbs,therefore,it is important to explore the semantic patterns of "adjective-degree adverbs".Throughout the works of the predecessors,a few of them explore the semantic sources of "adjective-degree adverbs" and summarize the semantics of semantic sources.So,this paper chooses eight adverbs of degree which are evolved from adjectives: "Hao(?)?Po(?)?Man(?)?Hen(?)?Guai(?)?Kuang(?)?Ju(?)?Ku(?)",and a detailed description of the grammaticalization of each degree of adverbs(semantic sources,syntactic structure)are described in detail.According to the detailed description of these eight characters,it can be concluded that the evolution of "adjective-degree adverbs" can be divided into the following four categories: "Adjectives-Auxiliary Verbs-Degree Adverbs" "Adjectives-Range Adverbs-Degree Adverbs" "Adjectives-Degree Adverbs" and Complex Patterns.Among them,the Complex Patterns refers to a variety of semantic sources,mainly including "adjective-degree vice" and "adjective-tracing adverb-degree adverb".Finally,the author summarizes the law of "adjective-adverb of degree" from the sources of semantics,syntactic structure and evolution path,grammaticalization mechanism and motivation.The full text is divided into six parts:The first part is an introduction,which firstly introduces the syntactic function and semantic function of degree adverbs,and then summarizes the related researches of degree adverbs(nature,classification and it's standard,scope and grammaticalization).Mainly collects the related research of degree adverbs grammaticalization.The second part describes the path of “adjective-auxiliary verb-degree adverb” and describe the grammaticalization of “Hao(?)”.There is only one section in this chapter.It describes the degree adverbs“Hao(?)” semantic sources and evolution pathfrom the related researches and grammaticalization of “Hao(?)”,the last part is a summary.The third part describes the path of "adjective-range adverb-degree adverb" mainly to describe the grammaticalization of "Po(?)" and "Man(?)".The semantic sources of them are range adverbs.The first section discusses the degree adverb "Po(?)",the second section discusses the degree adverb "Man(?)".The fourth part expounds the path of "adjective-degree adverb".Thefirst section discusses the emergence of the adverb "Ju(?)," and the second section discusses the emergence of the adverb "Ku(?)".In the fifth part,the description of the complex style is mainly based on the description of "Hen(?)","Guai(?)" and "Kuang(?)".Both of them are accompanied by “adjective-degree adverbs” and adjectives-tracing adverbs-degree adverbs”.The first section discusses the emergence of degree adverbs "Hen(?)",the second section discusses the emergence of degree adverbs "Guai(?)",the third section discusses the degree adverbs " Kuang(?)".The sixth part analyzes the general characteristics of "adjective-degree verb" s evolution from the sources of semantics,syntactic structure and evolutionary path,grammaticalization mechanism and motivation.The seventh part is a summary of the full text,and the shortcomings of this article.
