On The Music Style And Performance Treatment Of Liuqin Suite "Manchu Style"

Liuqin suite "Manchu Style" is a liuqin concerto work created by the famous composer Liu Xijin in 1997.This piece takes four characteristic scenes of Manchu customs and culture as the subject matter,and shows the artistic expression of Liuqin in manchu music style by means of brushwork.It reflects and embodies the manchu people’s celebration of festivals,worship of totem,deep feeling for children and the awe and piety of Shamanism.This article takes this song as the research object,on the basis of analyzing its creation background,discusses the music style characteristics and playing techniques of this song.The first chapter is a brief introduction to composer Liu Xijin’s music creation and the cultural connotation of Manchu Style.The second chapter briefly describes the history and characteristics of Manchu music,as well as the application of manchu music characteristics in Manchu Style.The third chapter analyzes and deals with the representative playing techniques in the suite manchu Style.
