The "Fioritura" And Its Application In The Baroque Opera Seria

The typical feature of the Baroque aria is the coloratura singing with "fioritura" in particular words,phrases,and cadenza by means of ornaments,diminution,etc.,in the da capo.In addition to superb hel canto skills,it also requires an in-depth analysis of the literary and musical texts and applying composition skills to improvisation.By analysing the development of the "fioritura" and the "fioritura" in aria da capo,using a typical aria style work as an example,this article recommends practical technique exercises in a predictable pattern,thus inspiring contemporary singers to create their improvisation.
