An Analysis Of The Use Of Bamboo Flute Fingering In Different Styles Of Flute Music

As a Chinese traditional national Instruments,bamboo flute carries the important content of thousand years of Chinese music culture.According to researches,the earliest flute instrument that has been found in China is Jiahu bone flute.It has an 8000-year history,and it can play the traditional pentatonic scale or diatonic scale.However,the bamboo flute has existed in folk wedding and funeral ceremony,operas,religious rites,sacrifice and other situations with the form of accompaniment until the 1950 s.the bamboo flute has started to show with the form of solo after the 1950 s.in 1953,in “The First National Folk Music and Dance Show”,gentleman Feng Zicun played Jolly Meeting and Flying Kite.These two music were the flute music what were adapted from Shanxi Er-Ren-Tai music.This show was generally believed as the first modern stage show that the bamboo flute was played with the form of solo.After that,the bamboo flute art has been blooming and many bamboo flute artists have shown up,such as Lu Chunling,Zhao Songting,Feng Zicun,Liu Guanle,Kong Jianhua and so on.As a bamboo flute player,I find in the long-time learning that there are differences in the fingering of bamboo flute in different styles of schools,and there are certain laws for them.Therefore,this paper organizes the fingering characteristics in different areas and analyzes the laws.
