Research On The Application Of Museum Space Display Design Based On Space Syntax Theory

Science and technology innovation in the 21 st century has provided sufficient support for museum exhibition design.With the active participation of the public,modern museums have formed a people-oriented concept focusing on audience-interactive experience to increase their spatial vitality.As a theory about architectural and urban spatial patterns,Space Syntax will be introduced to research museum exhibition design in the thesis,which gives scientific support to the artistic design of museum space.Firstly,this paper takes all spatial issues including museums as the study of space itself and establishes the interrelationships between local space and the whole system to further explore the museum exhibition design from a holistic perspective based on the Space Syntax theory.Secondly,through the description of museum exhibition design and Space Syntax theory,the thesis will concentrate on studying spatial configuration starting with phenotype and genotype elements to discuss the characteristics of museums’ spatial morphology and spatial phenomenon and connect them with cognitive activities.And by the further analysis of museum space,the significance of the space sequence and spirit of place of the museum space system will be illustrated.Finally,returning to the perspective of museum exhibition design,the paper will begin from space sequence to delve into the design strategies of museum space and consider the placemaking way of museums from the angle of the spirit of place.It will provide new ideas for museum exhibition design,show the value of Space Syntax in this field,then apply the theory to the design of museums with a new version of media convergence in Shaanxi.The thesis revolves around social culture and spatial relations.Starting with the Space Syntax theory,the author will take museum space as the carrier to exploit the social value of space through exhibition design language and improve the degree of narrative and experience of space.Through the above parts,the exploration of museum space ultimately reflects a specific relationship between human cognition,space systems and social culture,which makes the study of museum exhibition design more popular and interesting.
