| Urban development from "incremental development" to "stock renewal",from the simple and brutal increase in "quantity" to the connotation of raising "quality ".Rough development has led to a relative decline in the quality of public space in cities, and the subjective human behavior has degraded the natural space given by the environment, which is accompanied by a decline in the quality of urban public space. The emergence of quantitative measurement of spatial quality provides a new perspective for micro-renewal of urban spatial quality, but is it possible to apply such a perspective to ethnic minority concentrations? In this study,we measure the spatial quality and design interventions for micro-renovation of the ancient city of Doklam,Shangri-La based on self-collected streetscape data. The main factors affecting the poor spatial quality of the Doklam old city are the cluttered and sparse greenery, the haphazard parking of vehicles, the haphazard placement of objects, and the cluttered electrical wires. The study selected a sample street space in the ancient city of Doklam, and designed the space from high to low quality, and found that the spatial quality of the space could be changed by adjusting the elements affecting the spatial quality in a good direction. This study will provide a strong basis for future spatial improvement and management of ethnic minority areas. |
