The Application And Exploration Of "Deadpan" Language In Contemporary Landscape Photography

"Deadpan" language,literally means photos without expressions,there is no sadness or joy in the photos,the most primitive perspective composition is used to place the shooting landscape in the center of the picture,and it faces the viewer in the most realistic way.The large frame and ultra-clear photos made the audience feel a huge shock."Neutral" and "cold" are common adjectives for this type of photography.The photographer fully demonstrates a neutral position with a detached perspective and a high degree of self-control,allowing the viewer to freely exert and fully understand the invisible forces in the landscape beyond nature and man-made.The reason why the language of "deadpan" has attracted the attention and use of many photographers in contemporary landscape photography is that in the special photography type of landscape,the objective and serious style makes the work more unique artistic charm.It enables the author to "hide" his own point of view,allowing viewers to exert their own initiative and establish a channel for artistic communication.At the same time,it brings the growth of shooting skills and conceptual thinking of photography art to the author’s own creation.This paper analyzes the formation,development and influence of the "deadpan" language in landscape photography,on the basis of understanding the development of the "Deadpan" language in landscape photography,combined with my own creative experience,and analyzes the "deadpan" language in contemporary landscapes.How it is used in photography and explore the reasons and advantages of the "deadpan" photographic language widely used in landscape photography.The article first sorts out the research status at home and abroad,and explains the research ideas and research methods in general.Then expounds the concept and development history of landscape photography and the language of "deadpan".It analyzes the typology and its derived typology,and discusses the application method of "deadpan" language.Then through case analysis,it explores the display,conceptual and documentary expression of "Deadpan" language in diverse landscape spaces in the context of contemporary art.Balance and help to the development of landscape photography in China.Finally,I combine the above theoretical research and my own creative experience to explore the influence of "deadpan" language on my creation.
