Formal Research On Conceptual Photography From The Perspective Of Simulacrum

“Simulacrum” is a philosophical viewpoint that emerged with the post-modernism trend in the 1960s.Baudrillard’s research on simulacra also extends to the field of art,especially in the field of photography.This proposition has always revolved around the authenticity of things.The relationship between photography and reality has changed from "reflecting reality" to "murdering reality" at the beginning,and then to becoming a "simulacrum" of itself,and is increasingly dependent on the development of technology.The art form of conceptual photography has the meaning of "reconstruction".Through a series of "reconstruction",photography is not only a reproduction of reality,but a re-creation of conceptual images.The simulacrum’s obscuring of reality and the artificial re-creation of images reveal the connection between the two.Therefore,this paper explores the development stage and manifestation of conceptual photography from the perspective of "simulacrum".The article starts with the introduction: first,it explains the concept of simulacra,takes conceptual photography as the research object,and analyzes the correlation between simulacrum theory and conceptual photography;Then analyze the simulacra expression of conceptual photography;finally,through the research on the simulacra expression of conceptual photography,think about the future development direction of conceptual photography,and carry out personal creative practice accordingly.The second and third chapters are the focus of the article.The author hopes to deduce the form construction and development law of conceptual photography through the cognition of "simulacrum",so as to get a glimpse of the future development law of conceptual photography,and provide information for the research of conceptual photography.
