Thinking And Creating Wonders ——A Study On The Evolution Of Wu Bin’s Landscape Painting Style

In the late Ming Dynasty,Chinese painting began to diversify in form and style,the content and meaning contained in the works of art have also become richer.During this period,the cultural trend of thought was active,the genre of painting was prosperous,and various types of artists have presented many shocking and surprising works of art to the world.The painter Wu Bin studied in this article is one of the most charming artists.Looking at the whole history,Wu Bin’s landscape paintings are unique in style and appearance.His landscape painting style and appearance broke through the barriers of the traditional thinking of predecessors,presenting a distinct personality image,at that time it was considered to be "creating wonders through thinking and writing mysterious".This article makes a more systematic and in-depth study on Wu Bin’s life and social background on the basis of his predecessors,sorts out Wu Bin’s tortuous life experience and the unique social customs of the late Ming Dynasty,which are some of the factors that affect the development of his art.This paper will also conduct a specific analysis and interpretation of the different styles and features of Wu Bin’s landscape paintings,focusing on the works preserved by Wu Bin,classifying and sorting out the collected historical image materials,Combining official historical documents,painting poetry,notebook novels,signatures and other historical materials,this paper analyzes Wu Bin’s landscape painting style from three aspects,one is to learn from the ancients’ tradition,the other is to transform the natural landscape,and the third is to analyze the close relationship between his beliefs and painting,then,it presents Wu Bin’s artistic creation as a painter between ancient people,landscapes and beliefs.Through the above analysis and research,I hope to deeply and systematically understand the formation of Wu Bin’s personal perspective,the change of creative thinking and the deeper reasons for the transformation of his painting style,and to conduct an in-depth discussion on the evolution of Wu Bin’s landscape painting style.
