| The Eastern Jin Dynasty was a historical period when the clansmen and gentry dominated.The children of clan clansmen and gentry were buried together.The existing Eastern Jin epitaphs were unearthed in the family cemetery.Due to the relaxation of the ban on monuments,the hierarchical system of epitaphs created by the royal family of the Western Jin Dynasty to serve the "political reunification" was discontinued in the Eastern Jin Dynasty,and the characteristics and meaning of the epitaphs also changed,showing a "familial" trend.This paper focuses on the phenomenon of "familialization" of epitaphs in the Eastern Jin Dynasty,selects representative family epitaphs,and examines in detail the characteristics of its chronicle and writing style,as well as the identity and family background of the epitaph.The author’s focus is on the role of family factors in the formation of the characteristics of the Eastern Jin epitaph.The analysis of this paper shows that the phenomenon of "classification" and "differentiation" in Eastern Jin epitaphs is related to family factors,and the "family" epitaphs are the product of clan culture and the extension of blood politics. |
