On The Personality Expression Of Brush Stroke In Oil Painting Creation

As a form of painting expression,brushstrokes have different expressions whether in abstract painting,figurative painting,portrait painting or landscape painting,and it brings different possibilities to the style of painting language in different periods.The brushstroke language of oil painting changes with the development of the times,from the early stage that only served the theme and content of the work,to the process that the brushstroke has an independent aesthetic value,it is not difficult to find that the painter is constantly giving the oil brushstrokes a new charm,they are trying to form their own painting language through personalized brushstrokes.As far as oil brushstrokes are concerned,brushstrokes involve issues of language and expression,so the author starts with the concept of painting language-oil brushstrokes,to explore the reasons for the formation of personalized brushstrokes and how painters use this painting language to express their artistic concepts.The thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is an overview of oil painting brushstroke,which mainly defines the concept of oil painting brushstroke and combs the evolution process of oil painting brushstroke in different periods.The second chapter is the analysis of the individual expression and emotion of oil painting brushstrokes,from the emotional expression of oil painting brushstrokes to analyze the reasons for the formation of the painter’s individual brushstrokes.The third chapter mainly discusses the function and aesthetic value of individual expression of oil painting strokes.The fourth chapter is the analysis of individual expression of oil painting brushwork in the painter’s works,taking sisley,Auerbach,Cecily Brown’s oil paintings as examples to analyze the individual brushwork in the painter’s works.The fifth chapter mainly discusses the application of individual expression of oil painting brushstroke in graduation creation,and analyzes how to use brushstroke to express the picture and realize the process of graduation creation.
