| Nowadays, we are living in a colorful world. With the society develops, people has raised their intellectual levels and gradually begun to realize the importance of cultivating their spiritual world. In today’s life, The number of people who are in touch with the oil painting becomes more and more larger. However, the oil painting as a category of painting also has its own unique attraction. Actually, it is derived from the west and has developed slowly for hundreds of years. Every famous painter has their own thoughts when they use the oil painting colour, texture, stroke, line, composition or other language expression. Besides, these unique drawing languages have their own appeals to express the authors’ personalities, connotations and thoughts. This essay is selectively focused on the appreciation of some painters’ works, the basic concept of oil painting language, the colour and strokes which are included in the oil painting language, and their roles in my usual creation. |
