Gelatin Lifter Lifting Fingermarks On Different Substrates

As an important traditional evidence,fingermark plays an irreplaceable important role still in criminal investigation.Fingermark development technique,as the premise and core technology of dactylography researsh,has been a key study project for related personnel.Among them,the transfer printing technique is an effective technology to overcome the complex background interference with the rapid development in recent years,but there are always difficult to popularize and utilize because of various drawbacks exist.On the occasion of the difficulties,gelatin lifter brokes the shackles of success by setting many advantages in one,worthy of further experimental verification and study testing.In this paper,I chose a variety of sweat latent fingerprints,grease fingerprints,blood fingerprints,older fingerprints,excessive development fingerprints,overlapping fingerprints on the non porous materials,semi porous materials,porous materials,flat surface materials,curved surface materials,rough surface materials and complex background materials as gelatin lifter develops targets,through scientific testing,recording and analysis of the principle,then the corresponding conclusions are obtained.The results of this study show that the gelatin lifter can develop sweat latent fingerprints,grease fingerprints,dust fingerprints on non porous,semi porous,rough surface and curved surface substrates,and powder or cyanoacrylate developed fingerprints well,can effectively remove the interference from the background and texture and other unfavorable conditions of those substrates;can develop fresh sweat fingerprints on porous substrates well;can not influence on the latter development fingerprint disposing and synergetic extraction DNA and other evidence;can develop the fresh and old blood fingerprints on leather or fresh sweat latent fingerprints on RMB cash by coordinating with cyanoacrylate developed fingerprints technology well;can effectively separate and extract two overlapping fingerprints that were left in different time and similar comprised of sweat and grease on glass;in addition,can reduce the previous excessive development fingerprints with powder or cyanoacrylate,can rehumidify the older sweat latent fingerprints in some extent also.
