| Community correction allows the criminals who meet the preconditions of community correction in the community,the specialized state organs with the help of social volunteers,non-governmental organizations and relevant social organizations,within the time fixed by the judgment,ruling or decision,correct the criminals psychological and behavior habit,a non-custodial sentence execution activity that urges the criminals smoothly return to society.For now,many countries in the world,especially the developed countries in Europe and America all adopted this relatively open penalty execution method,community correction system has many advantages,it occupies an indelible place in the criminal justice system,for instance relieve the pressure on the management of the prisons,avoid cross-infection between the prisoners,improve the effect of penalty execution,decrease the cost of punishment execution.The community correction in China starts late,but it’s growing fastafter.This paper is based on the perspective of community correction localization,more than 10 years of development,community correction work in S district,has obtained certain achievement and formed their own characteristics,such as the innovative implementation of community correction law enforcement brigade,established the village assistant system and explored the implementation of the "1123" correction model.But with the development of society and economy,many problems also gradually exposed,such as social investigation evaluation is a mere formality,there is poor cohesion between departments,the work force is thin and low social awareness of community correction work.Base on it this paper focuses on analyzes several aspects of community correction work in S district and put forward some suggestions,such as the improvement of relevant laws and regulations,enhancing material security,team construction and publicity work,it is hoped that it will be of great advantage to the community correction work in the future,at the same time enrich the working data of regional community correction. |
