War and peace are the eternal topics in human society,especially in countries.Since war has caused tremendous damage to human life and property security,the construction of a collective security mechanism to stop war and maintain peace has been affected by the international community after World War I.The establishment of the League of Nations is a failed and useful attempt.The United Nations,established on October 24,1945 after the end of World War II,has always maintained the maintenance of international peace and security as its purpose.Among them,the relentless implementation of peace operations is the most important way to implement this purpose.There have been 71 peacekeeping operations in Palestine since 1948,of which 14 are ongoing.These operations have successful experiences and failed lessons.The body of this article is divided into six parts: introduction,the political economy of UN peacekeeping operations,peacekeeping operations during the Cold War,post-cold war period,trends in peacekeeping operations,and conclusions.The first part mainly explains the background of the topic,the significance of the topic,the current status and problems of domestic and foreign research,the difficulties and innovations of the subject research;the second part mainly discusses the background of the UN peacekeeping operations,and the purpose stipulated in the UN Charter principles and their related political economic significance;the third part sorts out and demonstrates the issues of peacekeeping operations during the Cold War,clarifies the impact of global hegemony in the United States and the former Soviet Union on peacekeeping operations,and specifically analyzes peacekeeping operations during that period with UNONUC The political and economic significance of China;the fourth part is about post-cold war peacekeeping operations.China ’s participation in the most important landmark event is,but as of 2015,the impact of the United States and other Western countries on UN peacekeeping operations is still decisive.China ’s role is The performance has been greatly affected.At the same time,UNOSOM is used as an example to concretely demonstrate the political and economic significance of peacekeeping operations during this period.The fifth part is based on summing up the experience and lessons of peacekeeping operations from 1948 to 2015.Analyze the HIPPO report and explain China’s concept of peace and the realization of peacekeeping The role of peacekeeping operations in improving the value of peacekeeping operations.The final part of the conclusion mainly discusses the main points of this article,the main innovations and problems of the paper,and predicts the future development trend of peacekeeping operations research.By sorting out the history of peacekeeping operations since the establishment of the United Nations,showing the characteristics and causes of peacekeeping operations in different historical periods,and analyzing the lessons of successes and failures of iconic peacekeeping operations from the perspective of political economy,this article considers peacekeeping operations as an important carrier of the United Nations collective security mechanism.The core position must be strengthened in consideration of the wishes of the host government and relevant parties,and the overall planning and distribution of its funds should be proportional,especially when the Department of Peacekeeping Operations should give due consideration to the host country’s due share.
