Under accelerating the free trade area strategy,China’s free trade agreement has achieved certain development.Consumer protection clauses,as "WTO-X" type issues and "21st Century economic and trade issues",have received increasing attention in the process of China’s signing of foreign trade agreements.But at present,the research on consumer protection clauses in China’s free trade agreement is still in the development stage.By drawing lessons from the consumer protection clauses of other countries’ free trade agreements,it will promote the development of this clause in China.This article analyzes the status quo of China’s consumer protection clauses and the formulation of this clause in other countries’ free trade agreements,and explores the content of CPTPP,AUSFTA,and EU-Algeria free trade agreements,hoping to find references for development and improvement.The first chapter of the article firstly defines the relevant concepts and analyzes the development and related functions of the FTA consumer protection clauses.The second chapter analyzes the development process of China’s FTA consumer protection clause and related existing rules,so as to reveal the deficiencies of this clause in China.The third chapter analyzes the CPTPP,AUSFTA,EU-Algeria FTA consumer protection clauses,and compares them with China’s clauses,and draws some lessons for China to formulate related issues in the future.Chapter IV provides specific suggestions for the development of consumer protection clauses in China’s FTA,through the normalization of this clause,the strengthening of existing rules,the provision of technical assistance rules,and information on new hazardous products.Kulai to develop consumer protection clauses in our free trade agreement.
