The Evaluation And Spatial Distribution Of Residents’ Quality Of Life In Liaoning Province

The prosperity of Chinese society under the new normal requires that we put the people at the center,raise the living standards of the people,improve their well-being,and coordinate the development of the economy with the well-being of the people.This is also the essential requirement of socialism.In recent years,economic development in Liaoning province has encountered a bottleneck and regional imbalance,which has adversely affected the overall quality of life of residents in Liaoning province.An objective and accurate understanding of the influencing factors,conditions and spatial distribution of the quality of life of residents in Liaoning province can provide a basis for decision making to reduce the gap in living standards among residents in Liaoning province,which is conducive to the construction of a harmonious society and the early realization of the ultimate goal of socialist common prosperity.Taking Liaoning province as the research object,this paper analyzes the quality of life of residents in Liaoning province and its 14 prefectural cities.Firstly,the paper analyzes the favorable and unfavorable factors that affect the improvement of living quality of residents in Liaoning province on the whole.Secondly,the quality of life evaluation index system is constructed from five aspects: economy,residence and life,social security and public security,education and culture,and environment.Then,using the entropy value method to the residents of the 14 cities of Liaoning province compares and analyses the quality of life by grading and sorting,and using the method of system clustering to 14 cities of Liaoning province divided into four areas,namely: high quality of life,higher quality of life region,middle region,lower quality of life and life quality low life quality;Finally,based on the results of the comprehensive analysis,the paper puts forward some countermeasures and Suggestions to improve the quality of life of residents in Liaoning province.Through the above analysis,the research conclusions of this paper mainly include the following points.First of all,on the whole,people’s income,social construction,air quality and other aspects of Liaoning province have been continuously improved,but the overall economic and technological level has declined,the gap between urban and rural areas is significant,and environmental problems are still serious.Secondly,among cities in Liaoning province,there is a big gap in the indexes of residents’ quality of life.However,the economic level between regions is still the most important factor affecting residents’ quality of life.Finally,according to the map distribution,the quality of life of residents in the southeast and central regions of Liaoning province is generally better than that in the west and north regions.However,the advantages and disadvantages of residents’ quality of life vary from city to city.Therefore,measures should be taken according to the local conditions and the characteristics of each city.
