| Focusing on the connotation of national well-being,this thesis constructs a regional national well-being index system in China, and applies the entropy-GRA-TOPSIS method to quantitatively analyze the development level of China’s regional national well-being from 1997 to 2020,and study its spatial differences. The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)The entropy weighting method reflects the ability of the index to distinguish each evaluation object. It can more directly distinguish each index. The TOPSIS method can intuitively reflect the distance between the evaluation object and the optimal solution, but ignores the correlation between the indicators,Therefore, the GRA method is introduced to reflect the correlation degree of related sequences and obtain the optimal evaluation results.(2)From 1997 to 2020,the comprehensive index of Chinese national well-being has been significantly improved, especially the economic well-being index has increased significantly. However, the increase in environmental well-being is relatively small, and the development speed of environmental well-being has slowed down the rapid development of Chinese national well-being.While Chinese economic well-being has rapidly improved, environmental well-being has not grown in tandem.(3)The spatial difference of the national well-being index among Chinese provinces shows a narrowing trend. From 1997 to 2020,the spatial differences of national well-being in various regions of China also gradually decreased. The provinces with high national well-being index in China are mainly concentrated in the eastern and central regions, while the well-being index in the western region is relatively low, forming a spatial pattern of decreasing national well-being from east to west.(4)Chinese national well-being presents the characteristics of uncoordinated development in various dimensions in the process of improvement. Some regions focus on the improvement of economic and social well-being,while the growth rate of cultural well-being and environmental well-being is relatively slow. |
