| With the reform and opening up and the state’s policy of allowing migrant workers to enter cities,a large number of migrant workers have entered cities.Children cannot enter cities with their parents and are forced to stay in their original household registration, resulting in a special group-left-behind children. In the growth process of left-behind children, the absence of father and mother makes them prone to problems in psychology, education and life, which is highly valued and concerned by all sectors of society.Although the state formulates policies and supports in various aspects, and local governments join hands with people from all walks of life to help left-behind children, the current social assistance effect is not satisfactory and there are many problems,so the level of assistance needs to be further improved.Dezhou City is located in the northwest of Shandong Province, and its economic foundation is very weak. Many young adults are forced to go out to work under the pressure of their families, and the number of left-behind children is mostly. The overall level of social assistance in Dezhou is low, which hinders economic development and social harmony and stability. The economic strength of Texas is the lowest in Shandong, with agriculture as the main factor, industry and service industry accounting for a small proportion, absorbing limited labor force, and a lot of labor force flowing out, mostly rural people, leading to rural children staying behind.According to the relevant data in2018,there are nearly 100,000 left-behind children in Shandong Province, with Dezhou having the largest number, followed by Heze and Jining, with 45,000 children being cared for by their parents.Dezhou City is located in the northwest of Shandong Province. Its GDP has been in the countdown and its economic development level is backward. There are six counties in Dezhou, and the left-behind children aged 6-16 who have received social assistance are selected for sample survey.According to the present situation of left-behind children, this paper compiled a questionnaire on social assistance for left-behind children.Because the left-behind children are younger, for the accuracy of the survey results, let their parents fill it out.Make binary logistic regression to the effect of social assistance, and judge which influencing factors have influence on the effect of social assistance.Social assistance for left-behind children includes psychological level, educational level and life level. For the convenience of research,as long as one level of assistance is effective, social assistance is considered to be effective. The dependent variable is the effect of social assistance.Independent variables are divided into left-behind children’s personal level, parents’ level and family level. The personal level includes the gender, age, education level and boarding of left-behind children;Parents’ level includes the time, age, education level and frequency of contact with children when parents go home;Family level includes family income, guardian type and family atmosphere. The results show that: the gender, age and boarding of left-behind children; The time when parents go home, the education level of parents of left-behind children, and the frequency of contact with parents;Family income and guardian type have significant influence on the effect of social assistance;Education level of left-behind children, parents’ age of left-behind children and family atmosphere have no significant influence on the effect of social assistance.By drawing lessons from the experience of advanced countries and regions, using the theory of social support and Eriksson’s eight-stage theory, based on the current situation and problems of social assistance for rural left-behind children in Dezhou,we can reduce the left-behind children from the root causes, improve the rural social assistance system, ensure sufficient social assistance funds for rural left-behind children, improve the supply system of social assistance personnel for rural left-behind children, and establish relevant social assistance institutions to improve the level of social assistance system. |
