A Research Of The Status Quo And Countermeasures Of Left-behind Children In Zhoushan Fishing Rural Areas

With the accelerating of urbanization since 1980 s,a large number of migrant workers have been appearing and they have made great contributions to the urban development.Due to the effects of household registration system,their children have been left in hometown,thus having formed a special group named left-behind children in rural areas.Based on the documents research and the field investigation of left-behind children in Zhoushan fishing rural areas,this paper concludes their current existing problems expressed in their life events,school works,mentality and guardianship.In addition,it also analyzes the causes of problems and finally finds the problem-solving methods.It considers the main reason as the lack of family love,the improper governance,the insufficient school care and social concerns and raises four path choices: enhancing the emotional development and valuing the family love;advancing the legal construction and perfecting the government supervision;emphasizing the overall development and strengthening the school education;gathering the all circles' support and increasing the social support.providing the reference for solving the left-behind children problem in Zhoushan fishing rural areas.
