Soong Ching-ling is the pioneer of modern philanthropy in China, she reflects her philanthropic cultural thought in a lot of philanthropic practice activity. Thought guiding practice. So, research on the period of Anti-Japanese War-Soong Ching Ling’s charity culture thought have really important reference effect about contemporary philanthropy’s construction and development.The period of Anti-Japanese War-Soong Ching Ling’s charity thought is the outcome of era and history, born in the historical background of Japanese fascist aggression to against our country. It is come from the people-based traditional cultural thought, inherited and developed the Livelihood thinking and formed of under the enlightenment of Western democracy fraternity thought.This paper systematically comb the basic content and features about the period of Anti-Japanese War-Soong Ching Ling’s charity thought. In this period, the contents of charitable thought include three part, the structure of philanthropy, basic principles. This paper will discuss and expand about this three pait.First of all, this paper will discuss about the philanthropy structure in that special period, the two parts of structure are wealth dominator and the vulnerable groups that need be rescue. Secondly, is based on the people-oriented, to protect the basic interests of the army and the people; make the relief as the core, focus on assistance the guerrilla zones; in the United Front to the principle, fight for a wide range of the support; use a variety of ways to propaganda, guide public opinion tendencies. Use this four aspects of the basic principle of charity thought on this period. From this four parts to mutually promotion, mutual influence, and use that four parts to make the great contribute for victory of the war.The period of Anti-Japanese War-Soong Ching Ling’s charity thought in the context of that particular historical period, fully reflects the special nature of this period, that is political nature, public properties and diversity. About the period of Anti-Japanese War-Soong Ching Ling’s charity thought, the political nature is the most notable feature. At the period of Anti-Japanese War, Soong Ching Ling believes philanthropy and politics has relevance, insist on a united front for the political position, full support the Anti-Japanese War cause. She also stressed the non-partisan nature of charity, everything is designed to help people who need help. In this period, public charitable cultural thinking embodied in donors and beneficiaries, whether it is donors or beneficiaries, the social groups are like to participation in public charitable.The diversity about the period of Anti-Japanese War-Soong Ching Ling’s charity thought, mainly in education and achieve path two aspects, diversity of the publicity and education will help guide the direction of public opinion; multiple sources of donations fully reflects the extensiveness of the way.At end, This paper will explore the history and reality of the value of two angles about the period of Anti-Japanese War-Soong Ching Ling’s charity culture thought.
