Research On Farmers’ Sense Of Gain In Southwest My Country Since The 18th National Congress

Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core has inherited and developed the CPC’s basic theories and basic strategies on the work of“agriculture,rural areas and farmers”,insisting on enhancing farmers’ sense of gain and promoting rural construction in depth.The fight against poverty and the revitalization of the countryside have been taken as important measures to solve the peasants’ problems.Under the strong leadership of the party and the unremitting efforts of the cadres in poverty alleviation,an all-round victory has been achieved in the fight against poverty,and the revitalization of the countryside has embarked on a new journey.This research uses questionnaire surveys,interviews,and data access as the means,with 335 farmers in H Township,Chongqing City as the survey subjects,mainly on the five aspects of economic,political,cultural,livelihood,and ecological.Combined with the survey results and national statistical data analysis,it is shown that the farmers’ sense of gain has achieved remarkable results since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,which is mainly reflected in the continuous increase of farmers’ income,the relatively complete public infrastructure and the continuous improvement of rural cultural construction,and so on.However,there are still gaps in farmers’ sense of gain in some aspects,namely: it is difficult for farmers to increase income,political participation is relatively low,cultural life is relatively poor,the level of public basic services is not high,and ecological pollution is relatively serious.The main reasons leading to the gap in farmers’ acquisition are the insufficient endogenous power of the rural economy,the weak awareness of farmers’ political participation,the disconnection of rural public culture,and the weak ecological awareness of farmers.Problem-oriented,the article proposes ways to improve farmers’ sense of gain based on five dimensions.Economically,the rural tourism industry should be developed in combination with the ethnic minority characteristics of H Township,so as to realize the development of agriculture through tourism and increase the income of farmers.Politically,we should strengthen the services of rural grassroots organizations,train cadres at the training level,and give full play to the subjectivity of farmers.Culturally,strengthen rural ideological and moral assumptions,change customs and build cultural industries of the Tujia nationality.In terms of people’s livelihood,priority should be given to the development of rural education and the improvement of rural social security and infrastructure construction.Ecologically,foster a green lifestyle and promote the development of green agriculture.In this way,farmers’ sense of gain will be improved and farmers’ yearning for a better life will be gradually realized.
