A Study On The Readjustment Of The Us Japan Alliance Under The“indo-pacific Strategy”

Since the Obama administration,the "Indo Pacific strategy" has gradually transformed from an idea that has not yet been implemented into a strategy,which was further established and strengthened in the trump administration.Throughout the development process of the "Indo Pacific strategy",it is not difficult to find that the United States and Japan play an important guiding role in the "Indo Pacific strategy" because of their common national interests and mutually beneficial diplomatic vision,which makes the exchanges between the groups of countries in the "Indo Pacific strategy" region become very frequent in terms of national security and diplomacy,and also has an impact on the US Japan alliance It has a huge impact.This paper will focus on the "Indo Pacific strategy" and the US Japan alliance,based on the objectives and implementation means of the "Indo Pacific strategy",aiming to analyze the influence of the US Japan alliance in it,and summarize the role and changes of the US Japan alliance in it according to historical experience,so as to find out the general rules.Through the methods of literature analysis and historical analysis,this paper makes an in-depth study of the US Japan Alliance under the "India Pacific strategy".Specifically,this study mainly carried out the following aspects of work: firstly,it combed the related research of alliance theory,so as to grasp the relevant characteristics of alliance system.Secondly,the historical evolution of the US Japan alliance is divided into the cold war period,the Clinton administration period,the Bush administration period and the Obama administration period.Through the historical evolution of the US Japan alliance,we can find the development direction of the US Japan alliance.Thirdly,combining with the readjustment of the US Japan Alliance under the "India Pacific strategy",the paper finds out the goals and demands of the US and Japan.Finally,it evaluates what changes will take place in the Sino US Japan alliance of "India Pacific strategy",so as to better grasp the future trend and development trend of the alliance,and then provide reference for China’s response.This study finds that the "Indo Pacific strategy" promoted by the US Japan alliance is a comprehensive strategy of geopolitics and geo economy in the Indo Pacific region,and also an important means to curb the rise of China.However,due to the dependence of the economic development of the United States and Japan on China,it will become an important factor limiting the development of the US Japan alliance.Therefore,it can be predicted that the development of the "India Pacific strategy" promoted by the US Japan alliance is bound to be limited in the future,and the trend of the "India Pacific strategy" Sino US Japan alliance will eventually run counter to the development of the international environment.
