Research On The Protection Of Citizens’ Privacy Rights In The Era Of Big Data

The development of big data technology has brought great impact and change to social governance and posed a great threat to personal privacy security,but it has also effectively promoted intelligent lifestyle,personalized service and scientific decision-making.At present,due to the imperfection of the legal system,the non-standard management of the practitioners,the weak awareness of personal privacy protection and other reasons,the cases of information security infringement occur from time to time.This paper analyzes the existing problems in the field of privacy protection in the era of big data and the reasons for privacy leakage.By learning from the successful practical experience of the industry self-discipline model of the United States,the legislative protection model of the European Union and the technology control model of the United Kingdom in the protection of privacy rights,this paper summarizes the important enlightenment of the experience of privacy protection at home and abroad on the protection of our citizens’ privacy rights at this stage,and puts forward some suggestions in the era of big data,the specific measures to establish and improve the protection mechanism of citizens’ privacy in China are to strengthen the legislative supervision,give play to the efficiency of collaborative governance,formulate the standards of institutional practice,and improve citizens’awareness of security and prevention.
