Research On Poland’s Reconciliation Diplomacy With Russia After The Cold War

Peace has always been the good wish of mankind and the goal pursued by international politics,but peace is not a priori.In the long history of mankind,war will always break people’s peaceful life.The Thirty Years’ War ended in 1648 and the Westphalian system was established in Europe,but the war still failed to withdraw from the stage of history.In the following hundreds of years,wars occurred frequently,especially as human society developed into the 20th century.The two world wars have left unerasable memories in human history.After the war,the most important thing is to build a peaceful environment.The conclusion of a peace treaty between the belligerent countries is a necessary legal work for the two countries after the war,but this is only a legal level of peace,but to build a stable peace.The environment requires all-round reconciliation between the belligerent countries.Reconciliation is necessarily peaceful,and peace may not be able to achieve reconciliation.In international relations,the realization of peace between countries is a legal concept.Under normal circumstances,the sign of peace is the signing of an armistice agreement or a peace treaty between the warring parties.However,the historical memory left by both parties in the war cannot be based on the treaty.Therefore,after peace is achieved between countries,reconciliation may not necessarily be achieved.The realization of inter-state reconciliation will at least go through a long process,and the time of this process is affected by a field composed of multiple factors.In the past studies,the theory of reconciliation diplomacy was too simplistic,and most of the results only emphasized the ought of reconciliation and lacked the research on the multi-layer construction of the reconciliation path,as well as the analysis of failure cases.This article selects Poland’s reconciliation diplomacy with Russia after the Cold War as a research sample.In the first chapter,it combines constructivist theory and analytic hierarchy process to build a theoretical analysis framework for the full text.Starting from the interaction between countries and the interaction between levels,it proposes stratification of reconciliation between countries.Construct the theory.With history as a mirror,gains and losses can be clarified.In the study of reconciliation diplomacy,only understanding the origin of accumulating grievances can better guide the development of the reconciliation process.In the second chapter of this article,starting from the history of more than four hundred years between Poland and Russia,it clearly shows the origin of the historical grievances between Poland and Russia and the changes in Poland’s foreign policy towards Russia after the Cold War.The failure of reconciliation diplomacy.From a historical perspective,we can only recognize the existence of grievances,but we can truly promote reconciliation based on the present.In the third chapter,this article will be based on Poland’s diplomacy with Russia after the Cold War,starting from the three levels of system,unit and individual,using the analytic hierarchy process,and combining the French-German reconciliation to compare,and analyze the reasons for the failure of Poland’s reconciliation with Russia.Then,in Chapter 4,the corresponding suggestions in Chapter 3 are made.In international political research,any research must be closely integrated with history and reality,as well as theory and practice.As a Chinese researcher,while satisfying the above two points,he must be based in China and face the world.This article is based on the three dimensions of returning to history,looking at the world,and providing reference for China’s diplomacy.Starting from the history of Poland and Russia,while enriching the research samples of reconciliation diplomacy and constructing the analysis theory of reconciliation diplomacy,it is hoped that through the study of reconciliation diplomacy between Poland and Russia,the lessons of the failure of reconciliation diplomacy between the two countries can be summarized for the relationship between China and Japan.Improve and provide reference.
