The Case Work Study On Helping And Educating Juveniles Involved In Crimes

In recent years,the economy of our country is developing continuously,the living standard of the people has also been improved.However,in the meantime,the society has also appeared a good deal of social problems that minors break the law of crime,which seriously hinders the progress of social civilization.At present,China’s judicial system is being constantly improved,among which,social workers have played a huge role in the help and education of juvenile delinquency.First of all,the object of this study is the help and education provided to a minor A involved in crimes by a social work agencie in K District,Conducting in-depth case interviews on him in the process of helping and educating,and a social investigation on his growing experience,family status,and criminal facts,finding the main reason of delinquency are his own irrational cognitive behavior,the lack of legal consciousness and the negative impact of peer groups,etc.Secondly,based on the cognitive-behavioral therapy,the author intervenes in the process of helping and teaching a minor A involved in a crime,aiming at the individual problems and needs of the clients,using the cognitive-behavioral therapy to help him clarify and change the unreasonable cognitive behavior,learn appropriate emotional catharsis methods.Meanwhile,cultivate his sense of law,set up the correct three views,to prevent him from committing crimes again.Finally,this research under the guidance of the cognitive-behavioral therapy is verified the feasibility that social work intervened to help and educate juveniles involved in crimes,at the same time,help people’s procuratorate in K District explore new modes of helping and teaching,reduce the work pressure on prosecutors,to better help minors involved in the crime change their irrational cognitive behavior,promote their healthy growth and return to society.
