Research On International Law Issues Of Global Public Health Security

Global public health security mainly refers to the public health security crisis caused by the transnational spread of infectious diseases endangering human health in different geographical regions.Global public health security is of great significance to the development of human society and promotes the stability of international peace and security.The professionalism and global characteristics in the field of global public health security determine that this issue must be regulated by international law.This paper combs the relevant international legal documents of global public health security,including the International Health regulations,which specifically regulate global public health security,and the legal documents related to global public health security in International human rights law and International environmental law.In view of the problems existing in the existing rules of international law,such as diversification of legislative subjects,diversification and fragmentation of legal documents,limited scope of adjustment,limited effectiveness,lack of applicability of dispute settlement mechanism,and in the field of global public health security,the United Nations and the World Health Organization did not play their due leading and professional role,and proposed to formulate a special International Health Law in the field of global public health security.It mainly includes the analysis of the feasibility of formulating a special International Health Law and the contents that should be included,so as to form a governance model in which national cooperation led by the United Nations and the World Health Organization complement each other,enhance the enthusiasm of countries to fulfill their global public health security obligations,and create systems and institutional guarantees for the maintenance of global public health security.China plays an important role in the field of global public health security and abides by the norms of international law.Especially under the COVID-19 epidemic,he actively fulfilled his obligations under international law,carried out international cooperation,and provided humanitarian assistance to developing countries,which contributed to the maintenance of global public health security.
