Research On Political Propaganda Of "Liberation Daily"(1941-1945)

"Liberation Daily",as the main position of the Communist Party of China to carry out political propaganda during the War of Resistance Against Japan,has been dedicated to conveying the party’s policy propositions and mobilizing the general public since its creation.It became an important link between the Communist Party of China and the masses in the revolutionary war years,and to a certain extent prepared the conditions of public opinion for the ultimate victory of the War of Resistance against Japan,and laid the political and mass foundations.This article is based on the "Liberation Daily",with political propaganda as the breakthrough point,mainly using literature research methods,interdisciplinary research methods and logical analysis methods to carry out in-depth research on the topic.On the basis of combing the academic research on "Liberation Daily" and political propaganda,we strive to understand the important role of "Liberation Daily" in the political propaganda carried out by the Communist Party of China,and provide reference for the full play of the current party newspaper’s political propaganda role.The thesis firstly analyzes the background significance and literature review in the introduction part,and at the same time analyzes the important concept of political propaganda and the "Liberation Daily" involved in this article.During the Anti-Japanese War,the unprecedentedly severe national crisis made the general public deeply aware of the Japanese imperialists’ ambitions to destroy China.The Kuomintang,as the ruling party at the time,was passively slack in the war,which aroused strong dissatisfaction from all walks of life in the country.On the other hand,the Communist Party of China has been actively carrying out political propaganda and is at the forefront of calling on the entire nation to participate in the War of Resistance.The effective advancement of the construction of anti-Japanese base areas behind enemy lines,the extensive development of cultural and educational activities for the masses,and the increasingly complete newspaper and political propaganda teams have all prepared sufficient conditions for conducting political propaganda through the "Liberation Daily." During this period,the "Liberation Daily" had various forms of political propaganda,clear principles,and very rich content: the newspapers fully reported domestic and international wars and current events,and while calling on the whole people to actively participate in the war of resistance,they exposed and refuted the KMT’s dictatorship conspiracy.The newspapers also actively promoted the establishment and maintenance of the anti-Japanese national united front,and popularized the relevant content of democratic regime construction.As an important part of the rectification movement,the revised "Liberation Daily" systematically published the actual practice and personal experience of the base areas during the rectification movement,clearly showing the process of transforming theory into practice,and then calling on the masses to actively participate in it.In addition,the newspapers also fully reported the lively development of the mass production movement."Liberation Daily" acted as the party’s mouthpiece and disseminated the party’s policy propositions under the background of the war,and has won the support and support of the broad masses of military and civilians.In today’s era,when conducting political propaganda,party newspapers should fully learn from its experience and lessons to avoid problems such as content errors and untruthful writing.Summarizing the report of the "Liberation Daily" during the political propaganda,it also has certain enlightening significance for the party’s current political propaganda work.
