In recent years,under the severe blows of various national policies,the number of "violent injuries to doctors" crimes has gradually decreased.However,in contrast,the impact on society and public attention has not diminished,causing this phenomenon.The essential reason is that the decrease in the number of cases does not really mean that the phenomenon of "violent medical treatment" crime has completely disappeared,nor does it mean that all its existing problems have been solved.The reasons for the continuous public attention caused by "violent medical treatment" crimes are composed of many factors.First,because the current criminal methods are constantly escalating,the severity of the crime has broken through the bottom line of public morals and challenged legal authority.Second,in recent years,the frequency of incidents has continued to rise,showing intensive features,disrupting the public order of the society,but also triggering the public’s sense of social fear.Under such a general background,although both the legislative and judicial levels have paid more attention and severe punishment to it,there are still problems in the processing of judicial practice,such as a small number of criminal cases and more lenient sentencing.With the continuous development of media technology,the public’s access to information has become more convenient and diversified.The negative effects of "violent medical treatment" crimes have also been further expanded and widely spread under the malicious hype of some media,attracting more and more public attention to such crimes.
