| "Implementing the strategy of actively responding to population aging" is a strategic requirement put forward by the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19 th Central Committee of the Party in response to the reality of my country’s population aging.Since the beginning of the new century,as the aging of rural areas in my country has continued to deepen,the problem of farmers’ pensions has become more and more serious.Under the influence of diversified values,some farmers have tended to benefit from their values,lack of family responsibility,and weaken the ethical concept of filial piety.If farmers’ ethics of filial piety continue to weaken,and the need for material support and spiritual comfort of the older generation is ignored,the key role of filial ethics in providing for the elderly will not be played out,which will have a negative impact on the internal and social harmony of farmers’ families and worsen the lack of elderly care in rural areas..In view of this,it is necessary to clarify the current situation and existing problems of farmers’ filial ethics in our country,and then guide farmers to establish correct filial ethics,which is necessary for the actual development of rural areas.The research on farmers’ ethics of filial piety requires a combination of theory and practice to conduct research and analysis.Chinese traditional filial piety ethics,family ethics thoughts of classic Marxist writers,and family ethics thoughts of Chinese classic Marxist writers are the theoretical basis of the research.At the same time,the status quo,existing problems and reasons of farmers’ filial piety and ethics need to be analyzed on the basis of investigations in order to get a more comprehensive understanding.The theoretical research and current analysis of the ethics of peasants’ filial piety will help promote family harmony among peasants,promote social harmony,and help alleviate the problem of old-age care in rural areas at this stage.This article mainly focuses on the three core issues of material support,spiritual comfort,and intergenerational differences in filial piety.Based on the investigation of four rural areas in Shanxi,the theoretical and empirical research on farmers’ filial ethics is conducted,and a concrete analysis of farmers’ filial piety The status quo and problems of ethics,and the cultivation path of farmers’ filial ethics,so as to meet the theoretical and practical needs of rural social harmony and harmony within farmers’ families. |
