Research On Sino-foreign Cooperation In Higher Education In Henan Province In The Context Of The Belt And Road Initiative

Sino-foreign cooperation in running higher education in Henan Province,beginning in the 1990 s,has made some achievements after three decades of development.As the Belt and Road Initiative was proposed,exchanges and cooperation in various fields involving infrastructure,economy and trade,transportation,culture and tourism have been carried out between Henan Province and some countries participated in the Belt and Road Initiative.With the deepening of exchanges and cooperation,the talents have become a key factor for countries to jointly build the Belt and Road Initiative.Sino-foreign cooperative education,as an important part of higher education in Henan Province,shoulders huge responsibilities and missions in cultivating the talents.This thesis,employing the theories of pedagogy,economics and management,studies the Sino-foreign cooperative education in higher education in Henan Province in the context of the Belt and Road Initiative.It firstly reviews the current situation of Sino-foreign cooperative education in higher education in Henan Province and the countries along the Belt and Road Initiative.And then it discusses the main problems existed from six aspects as the regional distribution,discipline attribution,high-quality educational resources,level of running schools,quality assurance system and internal management system.Meanwhile,it analyzes the causes of these problems from the subjective and objective reasons.And eventually,based on the success of Sino-foreign cooperative education in higher education at home and abroad,it proposes the corresponding strategies for that of Henan Province from the levels of the government,the university and the society.To sum up,the thesis,in the context of the Belt and Road Initiative,systematically studying the current situation,the problems,the causes and the strategies of Chinese-foreign cooperative education in higher education in Henan Province,aims to facilitate the “going global” of Sino-foreign cooperative education in higher education and the influence of Sino-foreign cooperative education in Henan Province as well as to cultivate more talents for the development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
