Research On The Effects Of Population Ageing On Household Consumption

This article examines the impact of China’s population ageing on household consumption,first of all,from the population ageing,household consumption factors and the impact of the former on the latter three aspects of the current research literature to read and comb,and the subject of this study involved in the theory was briefly described.Then we use the method of statistical analysis to analyze the current situation and characteristics of China’s population ageing and household consumption,and then we carry out theoretical analysis of the correlation between the two from various aspects,and put forward research hypotheses,and then build a regression model,an empirical analysis of the impact of population ageing on household consumption in China.Finally,in order to better respond to the population ageing,in order to promote the upgrading and development of household consumption,based on the status quo of China’s economic and social development,put forward policy recommendations in line with national conditions..In this paper,qualitative analysis and empirical analysis,"China Household Tracking Survey（CFPS）" in 2018 as a sample,and in the choice of models and variables to make some innovation,to carry out empirical analysis.It is found that the deepening of population ageing has a negative effect on the consumption of material life,a positive effect on the consumption of spiritual life and a positive effect on the consumption of labor services,at present,the demand for material consumption after population ageing in China is decreasing,while the demand for material consumption in the central and western regions is higher than that in the eastern regions,as the Midwestern Sectional Figure Skating Championships Age,the demand for family spiritual services does not increase;regardless of region,as the aging process deepens,the demand for Labor services increases,the demand for services in the Midwestern Sectional Figure Skating Championships was greater than in the east;adding in the income variable as a weighting found that as household income rose,so did the population ageing’s demand for material and labor consumption,but the influence to the spirit consumption is not obvious.;In addition to the significant positive effect on the consumption of services represented by the consumption of health care,the remaining consumption is significantly negative because the better the health condition,the less the demand for the consumption of health care as the population ages,the corresponding effect on consumption upgrading is also smaller.
