An Analysis Of The Impact Of Population Ageing On The Consumption Of Chinese Residents

With the rapid development of China’s economy,the people’s life is getting happier,and the consumption level of residents is also gradually rising.With the implementation of the family planning policy and the advancement of the overall development process of opening to the outside world,great changes have taken place in the age structure of China’s population,the degree of aging is gradually deepening.So is there an interaction between rising consumption and population ageing? From the perspective of Chinese residents’ consumption,this paper collects the data of Chinese residents’ consumption level and population ageing from 1999 to 2018,and describes the current situation of Chinese population ageing and residents’ consumption development.Then we analyze the influence of population ageing on residents’ consumption in theory,and study the relationship between residents’ consumption level and population ageing through cointegration analysis and Granger causality test,it is concluded that the population ageing is the main reason for the change of consumption level in Percy Grainger On the basis of the relationship between consumption level and population ageing,a multivariate statistical model between consumption level and consumption level is established by using multivariate statistical analysis method Finally,the BP neural network prediction model of resident consumption level is established and the reasonable prediction of resident consumption level is made.It is concluded that China’s resident consumption level will continue to increase in the next few years,but the growth rate will slow somewhat as a result of the trend.According to the analysis result of the theory and demonstration,the paper puts forward the feasibility suggestion of improving the consumption level of the residents.
