| Since the new period,the overall economic level of Chinese families has been greatly improved,and many new problems of family upbringing have emerged and become prominent.Property crime has always been a worldwide social problem.According to statistics,in recent years,the average number of four typical property crimes,robbery,larceny,fraud and embezzlement,is 232,800,and continues to account for 28.08% of the total number of criminal cases in China.Property criminals refer to those who commit various criminal acts for the purpose of profit.The criminal behavior of property criminals is closely related to the personality defect,and the family is an important determinant of the formation of personality.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the personality defects and formation of property-type criminals for finding the correct family upbringing strategies.In order to deeply study the personality defects of property-type criminals and find out the family upbringing problems related to the formation of personality defects,151property-type criminals in a prison in Jiangxi were investigated by personality test and family upbringing questionnaire.In the survey,personality test questionnaire,parental rearing style questionnaire and self-compiled family rearing background information questionnaire were mainly used.SPSS17.0 software was used to process the survey data.The main findings of the investigation are as follows :(1)Property criminals have personality defects that are easy to lose control of boldness,love challenge and risk,and may be an important reason for their criminal behavior;(2)Compared with normal law-abiding college students,property criminals have obvious bad family upbringing;(3)The family upbringing factors related to the formation of personality defects of property-type criminals mainly include five aspects:First1y,excessive allowance given by parents;Secondly,overprotection of parents;Thirdly,lack of father’s emotional care;Fourthly,lack of career guidance planning;Fifthly,the family relationship problems such as parents’ divorce.In view of the personality defects and formation of property-type criminals,the countermeasures of family upbringing mainly include :(1)adhere to the scientific principles of family upbringing,mainly democratic principles,people-oriented principles and moderate principles;(2)Adhere to the scientific family education thought,mainly the Marxist family education thought,Xi Jinping’s family thought and the socialist core values thought;(3)to build a harmonious socialist family;(4)cultivate a good family tradition;(5)Attaching great importance to Labour education and vocational education to promote the free and all-round development of children. |
